They will not appreciate you if you did something good. The learning curve is very poor. Most of the seniors are old-fashioned they will not teach you anything in fact I doubt their skills. Bongo's R&D (Software Engineer) department is not willing to switch to new technology or learn anything new. One of the worst codebases I have ever seen, they don't follow any standard practice No code review or any checking against buggy/scrap code.
