Pros
The people I get to work with is the highlight for me. Everyone is so helpful and supportive. I ask all of the new employees what their first impression is and they all say that everyone is so happy and helpful. They also say that it is different from every other place they have worked and they all say it is good. I like the industry we are in. There is nothing easy about this business, so we are all challenged and boredom is not a word you hear used here. My peers care about me and my success and I want them all to know I am willing to help in any capacity I can. Being a service business, it is people all day every day and that excites me. The benefits are awesome so I don't have to worry about if I'll ever be able to retire and I know my family is taken care of.
Cons
It is a seasonal business and although Bonfe usually can keep everyone going most of the year, the seasonality can be a challenge. It gets extremely busy in air conditioning and heating peak seasons and slows down quite a bit when there is no natural demand. You need to be able to adjust and be there when the customers need us. The company is not for everyone and we are very particular in our hiring process but the people who do get through and work out well seem to be very happy for a long time here.
