Unfortunately, the work environment is highly toxic. Leadership prioritized personal advancements over the well-being and success of their teams, often at the expense of employees. Accountability is replaced with blame-shifting and throwing people under the bus to protect leadership own interests.
Operational challenges, particularly with driver availability in the UK, have been consistently ignored. Rather than addressing the root causes, leadership pushes ineffective solutions onto businesses while setting unrealistic KPIs for the sales team - leading to inevitable failure. The turnover rate among sales people is very high, coinciding with promotion for management, who continue to overpromise without delivering results.
The company capitalizes on its brand reputation outside of UK to attract talent, but in reality, employees are used as stepping stones for leadership’s career progression. The culture is exploitative, with no genuine investment in people. Tellingly, none of my former colleagues remain with the company- yet the same leadership is still in place.
