Interesting industry with projects with strong potential to drive much needed infrastructural change across the UK & I. Some fantastic team members.
Cons
Lack of married up strategy. Roles lack clear scope and deliverables with many roles rolled in to one. Frequent strategic disagreement between teams is common making it hard to achieve performance outcomes - some very senior commercial representivies will offer no support or empathy to help achieve the team or individuals achieve their objectives. Aggressive and confrontational culture at times which is lead by senior individuals who regularly called out employees front of eachother rather than private 121 conversations for feedback, driving a blame culture rather than collaboration. Very political.
