Pros

Free access to all the gyms. Owner is nice.

Cons

Management doesn't care about employees. Very "every man for himself" environment. Treats customers and sales team like garbage.

Pros

Management is awesome, friendly staff and extremely motivating atmosphere. Commissions on EVERY sale, bonuses if you hit goals, and benefits. You get to meet lots of people and help them better themselves

Cons

Goals can be extremely difficult to reach when you first start. Everyone says "wait 60 days, you'll make money" but that's a long time. They have a high turn over rate in sales because sales isn't for everyone. There's some beef between the different gyms and can be annoying at time

Pros

Working at a gym is great, loved it! I loved being at the gym, it was amazing. Weights, cardio, and classes. Also the owner is actually a good man, his staff isn't but that's something that needs to be fixed.

Cons

As an employee it's the worst thing in the world. I saw 12 sales people come and go, most lasted 2-4 weeks. I came in expecting an opportunity to makes sales, which is easy, Instead I get there and in put on a leash as if I don't know how to sell a gym membership. The 2 week period I was allowed to be great, ended up bring taken away. The managers stoled my deals, and took away my walk-ins. Worked there 3 months, and every time I started doing good, I'd get cut off. Upper management didn't care, they where too busy. The GM's and Sales Managers were sitting around all day waiting for all the walk-ins. Bodyworks is not a place I'd let my friends/family work.
