Pros

Independent culture of work without micromanagement. Good Salaries Despite at the beginning it looked like a company with a high potential of growth, there were some financial issues that is causing unexpected layoffs, I've enjoyed my time there, but also I was always affair of get stuck.

Cons

Company directives wasn't transparent with employees about the situation of the company, we didn't have the chance to look for another opportunities on time, and even we reject some offers because we thought we were growing. Didn't have a career path, or a clear way to grow, so you eventually will get stuck. Clients and projects wasn't very interesting, and there wasn't a clear role duties, causing some problems with clients, didn't know what was the job of project management, and other issues. Its sad but was just a dream company that promised a lot but unfortunately didn't do anything.

Pros

Salary was ok. Work life balance was ok for a while. There was a couple of big fishes in this very very small pond who were really talented

Cons

Work-life balance was affected when one of the tech representatives of our client did what we estimated was a 3 month work, in but a week. Since then, the weaknesses and lackings of the team became very evident. I'd dare to say that the biggest problem was the agile methodology. One that didn't quite fit well in a team with a QA squad that reduced greatly our ability to adapt to change in the understanding of the domain. A lack of production environment also affected our need to iterate correctly over the product, making it impossible to discern the correct path ahead. That, added to a team with little to no experience with highly resilient and scalable systems, ensured the termination of the partnership, regardless of the escape goats they desperately fired trying cling to this client.
