Boardwalk was once a great company but over the last few years it has become the most toxic environment I have ever work at. It is now a true dictatorship and a place where nepotism is rampant. If you are in the inner circle you are fine but everyone else spends their time walking on eggshells, afraid to say or do anything that would bring attention to themselves or their team.
The best way to be sucessful here is to leave your passion and knowledge at the door as it is not needed nor wanted. You quickly understand that yes is the only thing they want to hear from you - your expertise, creativity and inovations are unwelcome. You are treated like a number not a human being anymore and you are expendable despite the smokescreen of catchphases like boardwalk family forever, love always, golden rules etc that they hide behind.
