Pros

The clients were great for the most part and the tips were good.

Cons

The management is terrible! The manager, causes more drama than anyone else’s. She’s doesn’t keep your info private and confidential. She displays favoritism and lacks professionalism when it comes to her political and religious beliefs. Corp. under pays the stylist and over charges clients. They hire in newer stylists with less experience more then the senior stylists with the clientele. Corp. changes rules and policies so often it becomes difficult to know how to preform at the job. There is little to no perks and the day to day is repetitive. No opportunities for growth or to move up in the company. With the mischievous manager and corp. with frequent change and turn over, this is an unnecessary high stress job. The yearly “raise” is laughable. $1 increase per year as long as you cross off all the criteria’s they push onto you. Don’t waste your time and talent.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time at Boardroom. It is a positive work environment with very supportive management and coworkers. The manager provides a flexible schedule and plenty of responsibilities and opportunities to grow professionally. I have had a great experience with both clients and coworkers!

Cons

Boardroom is great for people that like to stay busy. Since it is a service based business, there will be occasional last minute changes, which can be challenging. Need to be detail oriented, stay calm under pressure, and able to multitask!

Pros

The design of the cutting floor The use of Jack Black and Bumble & Bumble products The location A majority of the stylists are talented The client satisfaction

Cons

The location I’m at doesn’t have everyone pulling their weight to prepare for the day. Too much dependency on the opening staff’s efforts and there’s no mid day/closer help. There’s no reason where a manager needs to message staff to tend to laundry when there’s free hands to do that. The promotions are going through too much reinvention, and then price inflation interruptions don’t help clients or regulars see how they’re getting a deal. A haircut, of course, is not a therapy session. However there’s a need for a consultation that’s in depth that’s should come with the service for our mid length to longer hair demographic.
