Pros

Easy Scheduling, Hybrid, Work your own hours.

Cons

Unfortunately, compensation at Bluum is severely lacking, and despite repeated communication from employees, there seems to be little to no concern from leadership. Town halls, which should be an opportunity for transparency and engagement, often feel disingenuous—numbers presented don’t align with reality, and it’s frustrating when those of us providing the actual data know the discrepancies firsthand. Beyond the pay, there’s a noticeable disconnect between leadership and employees. The executive team appears uncertain about the company’s future, yet instead of providing clarity, they shift focus to goal-setting and career ladders—without any tangible motivation or incentives. Employees are asked what they want to achieve, but the reality is that many just want to earn a livable wage, which continues to be an uphill battle. Bonuses, once a meaningful benefit, have dwindled to nearly nothing, further diminishing morale. Meanwhile, town hall meetings are dominated by long-winded speeches from the CEO that provide little substance or direction. For those outside of the executive tier, it’s becoming increasingly unclear why we should stay. The lack of transparency, financial growth opportunities, and genuine employee support makes it difficult to feel valued or optimistic about the future here.

Pros

Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and available. Bluum really values education and community and backs that up with resources, time and PTO to pursue community involvement.

Cons

Benefits are good and culture is great, but strictly speaking $/hr is a little below market IMO.

Pros

Welcoming environment Collaborative teams Flexible schedule Meaningful work

Cons

Lack of clarity on company direction A lot of change in the past few years, resulting in layoffs. Workload has not been picked up by new hires, so everyone still with the company is feeling the burden of that. Lack of support on shipping and tracking Sometimes can have a combative environment based on cross team functionality and discussions
