Pros
I’ve worked here for six years and have no plans to leave anytime soon. The company’s culture of openness and empowerment has made it possible to pivot and rise to the new challenges through every stage of growth, and as I have risen to meet these challenges i have been rewarded. If you have an idea for how something could be done better, you’re encouraged to share it and put it into practice.
Everyone that works here genuinely cares about our customers and the work we do—our products and customer relationships give us a strong sense of purpose beyond performance metrics. As the company grows, I feel that I grow with it. On my team, we’ve prioritized promoting from within, which has been motivating and rewarding.
The flexibility to work remotely has also been a huge benefit, without sacrificing connection. We have regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and a supportive environment where it’s easy to reach out on Slack for a quick question—but there’s no pressure to be “always on.” This balance has been invaluable.
Cons
We are 100% remote, so it can get distracting or lonely working at home. This also means that I do not often cross paths with people from departments that I do not work with directly, so I typically try to meet those people at our annual company retreat.
