Pros

Pay is decent, that is all

Cons

Upper management speaks to employees like they are worthless. Definitely a lot of verbal abuse. Favoritism is how they play, if you don't kiss up you will be looked over or treated poorly. Chew you out if you do not make sales goal, it's not our fault this company has no credibility and no one would willingly want to shop at an unknown, boring, excuse for a makeup store. Home brands are awful! They get on you for not selling yet no one wants to buy what they haven't heard of. They dock your hours on your paycheck! This is so illegal! You will be barked at like a dog if you are not up to their standards. Lack of empathy and care for employees. This is not the job to go for if you're a makeup artist! No one books appointments and you have no room for creativity. This company only cares about making money!

Pros

Business hours and get to meet some great clients

Cons

Lack of recognition for hard workers. No pay increase. Some employees are getting paid 30+ an hour at most stores and complain about a couple of cents from pay increase where people like myself is getting paid $10 less with no pay increase. Full time employees will do the most work more than anyone else, including management. Management also receives the most recognition over the employees that do the most work. This company has been bought out by Macy’s so I don’t think they care to hear what employees have to say.
