Pros

Seriously, this is the best tech in the space. It's complicated and mobile driven, making it quite interesting. People here are very smart and warm. Management genuinely listens and in fact, tends to over communicate. Lots of transparency to what's going on at the company - both good news and bad. ALL teammates across the functions are accessible for conversation whenever you want. There are no egos- which makes this place rare. They want you to learn from one another. There's a lot of pressure in the market, but management sets realistic goals. They also care about do things ethically (ie. not selling data), which means they knowingly give up revenue for the sake of doing the right thing. Management is encouraging and always gives employees a chance to shine and present to senior leaders. It's an open door policy with our CEO for any conversations you might want. People are hardworking, open and honest here. If you're not pulling your weight, everyone knows because you'll stick out. Also, diversity and inclusion aren't checkboxes here. They hire the best person for the role, period. Just take a look at slack and you'll see what I mean: yoga, kids, cooking, murder ballads, technoshare, star wars, mindfulness, etc. This company cares about its employees. Work hard, play hard mentality.

Cons

As with any start-up, work feels insurmountable at times. Long hours and long days. But, it's recognized by management and they will tell you to go take a day or two off after the crunch period. That's much appreciated.

Pros

A lot of hard working people, but managers are not empowered to make decisions independent of the CEO.

Cons

The possibilities to learn and change departments in the company do not exist—lack of trust and confidence within the leadership team. There are some great new leaders in the high places, but the culture is a rotting façade hiding behind the lack of respect from specific individuals. The CEO has a habit of treating individual employees like they can do no wrong, and because of a drunken night won’t make any changes that would benefit the company. The workload is hefty, and several teams end up working around the clock to catch up with daily work. Several individuals are overworked and underappreciated, and when I was there, I witnessed sever employees (genuinely good people that were valuable to the organization) essentially get bullied out of their jobs by executive leadership.
