      Not many! The pace can be fast, but that’s expected when working on groundbreaking technology with a high-performing team.

      Pros

      1. Friendly and supportive staff of employees - they take good care to only hire people that will fit in well with good technical and interpersonal skills. 2. Very high tech labs and desk space - very clean and well organized with large monitors, adjustable desks, etc... 3. Very smart/bright group of engineers to work with. 4. In office work culture with very sensible work/life balance - also good if you like collaborating in person. 5. A nice lunch is provided every day at the office.

      Cons

      Location in Poway makes my commute a little long.

      Thank you for the positive words. We're glad you've found coming to BMC as a positive experience. We work very hard to build and maintain a company culture, facilities and overall experience as positive as possible. It is unfortunately that a handful of our team have lengthy commutes; however, I hope our flexible start times enable you and others to time your travel where you can avoid traffic (and/or work around other constraints like childcare availability, dropping off/picking up children from school, leaving earlier for more family time, etc.). We also chose this as a somewhat centralized location applying consideration toward where all employees lived. Welcome aboard!!!

      Pros

      - Mentorship: Easy to seek guidance and mentorship from senior engineers - Collaboration: The office has an open-floor plan which makes the office feel more connected and lets you speak with other teams more easily - Opportunities: Supervisors are receptive to your ideas and are ready to assign challenging tasks if you're willing to take them on - Transparency: Senior management is approachable and welcoming to your suggestions - Fun events: Events are frequently hosted both in and out of office, they're always a fun way to connect with coworkers outside of work! - Snack/drink carts are all over the office, and lunch is provided daily!

      Cons

      - Although the company doesn't normally offer remote work options for full-time employees, I personally find the office environment more enjoyable and conducive to productivity. Nonetheless, supervisors are often accommodating on a case-by-case basis if you do need to take your work home
