The organization has fantastic goals and plans for education and workforce development for the entire community, not just Native people. They care and it shows.

All of the funding comes from discretionary federal grant funding, and thus, job security during times of political change in DC is less than reassuring.

Forward thinking, open-minded organization with true altruistic goals for bettering not only the lives of their tribal citizens, but of all citizens of Humboldt county and the surrounding areas.

Too few employees and tribe has limited revenue streams to support all organizational goals. Not eligible for all grant and contracts because they are a Tribal government, and limited opportunities for economic development due to rural location.
