Pros

The pros are the company has some great human resource talent. They do hire the best people, only to treat them pretty poorly. The benefits package is good.

Cons

They have (unsuccessfully) been trying to sell the company for a while. The company had promise early on, but the management here is just a mess. I can't imagine the current management even holding a job at a professionally run financial institution.

Pros

The company is comprised of a group of very talented individuals - each member of the company understands the importance of team work. From the junior traders to the owner of the company, all work towards achieving the success of the company.

Cons

No cons in my opinion

Pros

1. Paycheck clears on time 2. Paid lunches daily 3. Refrigerator filled with yogurt (I guess this could be a con if you are lactose intolerant) 4. The office is about 50% full, so you can choose whatever chair you like 5. There are some good people to work with if you can find them 6. The firm is moving in a more analytical direction

Cons

1. They will find some way to screw up their transition to a more analytical firm 2. The starting salary is barely above that of a McDonald's employee 3. If you ask for a raise, it will be held above your head even if you deserve it 4. There are a few actual traders and then there are the other "traders" who just babysit the trades while the real traders are at home- know which one you are if offered a position 5. Your chances of having a life outside of work are slim to none 6. Your ideas will never be listened to and constantly laughed at 7. You will always be criticized for mistakes (no matter how small), but never lauded for successes 8. It takes approximately 13 months for anything new to get implemented
