Pros

Despite the overwhelmingly negative experience, some staff members were a joy to work with. Their kindness, professionalism, and support provided rare moments of relief in an otherwise toxic environment.

Cons

My experience here was nothing short of a nightmare. The work environment was deeply toxic, with bullying being not only ignored by management but actively perpetuated by them. Raising concerns achieved nothing—complaints were dismissed, and those who spoke up were treated even worse. The culture of sexism was undeniable; female employees’ opinions were routinely disregarded, and I was outright told that my input was less valuable simply because I was a woman. Instead of being respected for my role on the service desk, I was expected to perform menial, non-work-related tasks. There was zero support for staff. Management displayed no concern for employee well-being, and instead of addressing the hostile work environment, they either turned a blind eye or contributed to the problem. Morale was nonexistent, with employees feeling undervalued, unheard, and disrespected on a daily basis. To make matters even worse, the pay was absolutely disgraceful—insultingly low for the amount of work expected, making an already unbearable job feel even more demeaning. The lack of appreciation, rampant favoritism, and culture of intimidation made every day miserable. If you have any self-respect, ambition, or desire to work in a professional and supportive environment, stay as far away from this place as possible. No job is worth this level of stress, mistreatment, and outright abuse.

Pros

Its a local business supporting local companies

Cons

Bad Management - No personal reviews or goals, no real progress unless your friends with the management. No real input from management with engineers or service desk other than empty or unfulfilled promises. (Aircon never delivered, Office upgrades never built, Team bonding sessions never provided) Business decisions made even after advised against it. (Bidding for Government Contracts which we are not in a position to ever win) Purchases made with terrible reasoning or logic (4 Electric Vans but only 3 engineers to drive them, speed limited and low maximum milage. Fast charging limited by the battery so could not make use of Rapid chargers realistically) Offered T Level support which was often referred to as free labour They've outsourced the Service Desk to Asia without notifying their customers until after the larger customers signed long term contracts. UK based service desk have now all been made redundant. Investment in stock, equipment for engineers, quoted hardware for projects all come with complications due to lack of credit with almost all hardware providers which all link to unpaid invoices and lack of funds in bank accounts. This is all made worse with the ongoing legal battles they have with liquidation of related business. Immoral practices by charging for Windows 11 upgrades when they should be free. Eventually this was discussed which then provided the free option (sometimes) I've discussed outside of work with a customer who paid thousands and did not know there was an option to upgrade for free! The Salary was never great and you could always get paid more elsewhere, which others who have left are now on more money, but it used to be a great family feeling company that you where happy just being part of it. That has completely changed and now its just a poorly run, low paying, terrible place to work While I think crude jokes can be made in office placements, overall I believe the senior management to be sexist (never taking notes from female staff seriously) , with mild displays of racism (ironic having outsourced to Asia when they've made jokes about struggling to understand some accents)
