Pros
Everyone I came across was very nice and kind The culture in the company is pretty great, filled with good vibes Relaxed working environment All in all, the company is 10/10
Cons
My boss, Helene Lotin (Central Operations Planning Lead), forced me to end the internship in early February instead of late June (the original deadline), after just 2 months, because: 1) I required too much supervision and assistance 2) I made mistakes while doing my tasks after two months on the job 3) I lost my can-do attitude and will to learn My boss should have been informed that for a €700/month internship she cannot expect the same employee performance as from a €2,800/month Central Operations Planning Associate. When you recruit a student from university and ask them to handle a wide variety of tasks pertaining to 5 different markets of the company, you should expect they will make a ton of mistakes. Unfortunately, my boss had no tolerance for any mistakes. Although, I find it surprising she did not even tolerate giving me assistance, since without it I find it hard to understand what exactly am I there for: to learn or to be cheap labour? Overall, it is unfortunate for the company that she is giving it a bad name. I honestly cannot say 1 negative thing about Bloomon. However, if you plan to work there, be mindful who is your boss.
