Pros
Excellent benefits, free lunch, lots of problems to solve and an overall push for technical growth for everyone. Management encourages you to try new things and encourages growth. Managers allow you your independence and there is not a lot of hand holding.
Cons
Lack of a defined career path especially if you're technical and not in Engineering. There is also a lack of technical management and mentorship is this department, but a lot of lip service paid to being technical without the wherewithal to help you on this path. The organization is also very large and without centralized project management, so a lot of projects end up being duplicated somewhere else in the organization. The company discourages working from home and any sort of remote work arrangement.
