Pros

People working there are generally nice and friendly. Free lunch 2 days a week, and snacks are readily available. Coffee is also available in the office, and there is a philz nearby.

Cons

There is no room for growth. You end up doing repetitive things, with nothing to show for it. They also have many people come through and have a remarkable turnover rate. There is hardly any recognition for any work you do.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Working in a retail & e-commerce business, turn over rate will end up being much higher than other industries. We hire seasonal and temporary employees that help us with production and distribution of our blooms and unfortunately, our internal processes are always shifting because of the company growth. This is one of the biggest challenge we face at a startup and in the future, that will be changed. We are aiming to retain our best talents and make our employee happy, because we believe that people are the biggest asset a company has. At BloomThat we have an Open Door policy and you are more than welcome to discuss any concerns you may have while working with us. Couple months ago, we implemented performance reviews and development plans for individual employees, which is a step for your own career path and opens up the doors to many opportunities with BloomThat. Also, new hires receive a 30/60/90 days plan to make sure their on-boarding is running smooth. Let me know if there is anything I can help with. I will share your feedback with our cofounders and management team. Please call HR or email me directly at people@bloomthat.com to report any further concerns.

Pros

Great people to be around and the hours were pretty lenient as long as you got your work completed.

Cons

Lack of direction for the company as a result of acquisition.

Pros

BloomThat is a funky synergy of varied talent and style - everyone is really secure in being themselves and bringing their own set of skills to the table while being able to work well together. The focus from management is performance oriented and hard work never goes unnoticed. We build each other up giving credit where it is due and strive to craft inclusive language when critiquing and giving feedback on work processes. The platform BloomThat has built to allow people to share a little kindness and joy with others has amazing potential. I look forward to massive and rapid growth. I started as a contractor a little over a year ago and was brought in as a full time employee with benefits ~3mo back.

Cons

Chchchchchanges! Not really a con but this is a fast paced and ever growing workplace. It's not unusual to walk in one day and find a certain process has been retooled or that things in the office have been rearranged. This is the nature of a young, blossoming business but may take a little getting use to for some.
