Pros

- free coffee and croissants, pizza firday - option to be employed full time after losing student status - international company for cv - interesting product

Cons

- after quitting even if you meet condition to get bonus ceo won't fulfil his part of the deal and pay you the bonus - stressful environment - below average salary - minimum annual leave allowance (regres) - no signature bonus for full time contract (compared to what most other companies offer) - don't tell people where you work or they will make fun of you (company has bad reputation)

Thanks for sharing your feedback - we’re glad you appreciated the international environment, product and transition opportunities from student to full-time work. That said, we’d like to clarify a few points: - Bonuses are paid when agreed conditions are fully met. We take these commitments seriously. - Workload and pressure are part of any fast-moving tech environment, but we actively work to manage stress through team support, regular check-ins and flexible planning. - Compensation is aligned with market standards for our region and role types. We may not offer signing bonuses across the board, but we invest in growth and development long-term. - Annual leave allowance is provided in full accordance with local labor law. - Regarding the comment on reputation, we stand by our work, our mission and our people. We’re proud of the impact we’re making and the team behind it. Honest feedback helps us grow, but we also want to make sure any misunderstandings are addressed clearly.

Pros

My experience working with Blocksi is positive. The company offers a stable salary with on-time payments and additional vacation days. There are also perks like longer lunch, daily snacks and Friday pizzas. We enjoy a certain degree of autonomy in managing our work, as well as access to extra courses on platforms like Udemy upon request.

Cons

More flexibility for hybrid work would be welcome.

Pros

- Remote work in the US - K-12 Industry that feels fulfilling to work in and helps students

Cons

- Private company, so all decisions are under one person - Owner does not care about the mission - Owner is inexperienced as a CEO, but will still label themselves as CTO.

Thank you for this, and for the years you spent with us. We’re glad the remote setup and the K-12 mission felt meaningful — that mission is, honestly, the heart of why our CEO does this, and we’re sorry if that didn’t always come through in the day-to-day. We hear your core point: that a great deal sits with one person, and that we need stronger structure rather than leadership operating at the front lines. We’d put it this way — our CEO’s deep, hands-on involvement has been part of what’s gotten Blocksi this far, and the work now is building out a management infrastructure that’s fully aligned with the mission so the company doesn’t depend on any single person. That’s an honest work in progress. We’d rather be a place people recommend than a résumé line, and we’d value hearing more from you directly. — The Blocksi People Team
