Pros

- great brilliant people who are awesome to work with and can teach you alot - Chance to work in emerging tech field

Cons

- seems like management does not know what it wants, there are constant scope changes both at product and enterprise level causing developers to work back and forth and the end-product vision is always in flux - questionable ethics, company laid-off the entire engineering departments for one of it's product offerings (3 total) and then flung the resposibility integrating what was there to one of the remaining teams, seems to be no regard for employees that were loyal to them as well as managing the workload of the people who still work there -Questionable poisitioning in Web3 space. I'd love to get into it if it wasn't for the NDA but I was banging my head against the wall the entire time trying to imagine the actual target market and the people who would use the platform. Not a good look when you're desperately trying to contribute to the end product.

Pros

100% remote work and very talented teams to work with.

Cons

Every negative review here is accurate, ignore the sole 5-star one for obvious reasons. This company is run by a CEO/Founder and his inner circle of friends/ex-coworkers, none of whom seem to know how to manage or grow a business effectively. Despite being around for 8+ years, they've made no progress in deploying any product. The company has had so many great product ideas and an ambitious vision, only for the CEO to abruptly scrap everything, lay off entire departments, and decide to start over from scratch. Layoffs are an annual tradition here, each year another department, and in the last round the entire company, or just about, is gone. It’s a pattern that seems sustainable only because the CEO is personally wealthy. Adding to the dysfunction, the company's NDAs and non-compete clauses are laughable. They attempt to enforce non-competes, which are illegal in many states (and even punishable in some). It’s absurd considering there's no actual product to compete against. Even worse, they forbid employees from mentioning they were laid off—another violation of legal standards. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this company. There are far better opportunities out there. No 401k matching No health insurance coverage for the first 3 months 10 days PTO (including sick time, bereavement, or jury duty) Minimum holidays paid No compensation for internet or career classes The benefits list is so short that they had to add "casual dress" as a benefit even though everyone was remote!
