Pros
At Square I have the opportunity not only to work on the latest technologies, but to contribute to their development via open source projects. I'm surrounded by people who have made significant contributions to the development of the technology that drives the Internet. Great fun!
Cons
As with any fast-growing small company, there is more to do than time to do it all, so the biggest issue is the need to stay organized and prioritize effectively. There are also times when the work that needs doing is not as glamorous as I might like, but I always know I'm making a difference so it's ok.
