Pros

The product itself (especially the folks in the SOC) are clearly best in class. Until recently, the leadership team struggled with consistency and attitude. With the new CEO's arrival, though, things have been improving in that area. There's still work to be done getting the ELT out of silos, but things are getting better.

Cons

It's a growing tech company, which means things move fast.

The last year has been a meaningful reset for us, and the arrival of our new CEO has helped bring more consistency, clarity, and focus, but we know that progress doesn’t stop there. Pros

Blackpoint Cyber employs a large group of passionate and talented people and the product and service are truly effective which makes this role a good one, for the most part. The PTO policy is pretty decent and I never feel as though I'm not able to take time away for important life events. The Blackpoint leadership is level-headed and will listen to feedback. The company is well-respected in the industry and has a good reputation. It seems as though the people at the organization always want to do the right thing and do right by our customers. Employees are typically encouraged to voice their goals and promotions/career changes occur from within often.

Cons

It sometimes feels as though we do not have enough personnel and that employees experience burnout. The support team and the product team seem especially stretched thin. A President's Club would be really nice to have. There are not a lot of opportunities to connect with the internal team in person. The quotas feel a bit high and the compensation feels a little low compared to other players in the cyber industry. The organization does not seem to focus much on giving back.
