Some of the managers do not know how to effectively manage people and will take credit for results out of self promotion. HR needs work. They will offer you shares which get diluted over time and aren't worth much or anything until the company sells or goes public (basically funny money). They give you worthless stock and far lower pay than most companies. Little to no opportunities for advancement. Hire mostly young people that accept lower pay.
