There are tremendous resources at BlackRock. Compared to other firms, every employee has the opportunity learn a lot. It is one of the rare companies where going above and beyond the call of duty yields more than just a bigger bonus. Job satisfaction, learning, ownership and responsibility are readily accessible even at the most junior positions. The strong team culture and infrastructure in place makes BlackRock a great place to work.
Cons
As with other similar jobs, hours are typically long. While management tries to boost morale by having regular team and firm-wide events, be prepared to give up some work/life balance in exchange for (albeit rewarding) career.
