Ad Hoc Tasks and Workload: In the crypto industry in general and specifically to Bitifnex, ad hoc tasks accumulate alongside regular responsibilities, leading to increased workload and stress. This challenges work-life balance. Illusion of Freedom with Remote Work: While remote work offers flexibility, it can sometimes create the illusion of freedom. I find myself working longer hours, leading to a blurred line between professional and personal life. Tradeoff between Work and Personal Life: For me personally, remote work flexibility comes with a tradeoff between work and personal life. Without the physical separation of office and home, I find it challenging to disconnect from work, leading to feelings of being constantly "on."
