Pros
Supportive people/managers if you can find them. Great benefits (healthcare plans, 401k match, ESPP, stock). Fun enough place to work if you are in the right group. Good work life balance.
Cons
Lots of changes over the last few years, both in management, line leaders, and structure. Layoffs over the summer and fall. Research directions somewhat unclear during 2023 with longer than expected time to fill Head of Research positions. That said, a lot of this is in the past so Biogen is hopefully turning the corner. Biogen still has to address falling revenues over the last 4 years though.
