Pros

Nice modern offices and private healthcare included in contract

Cons

The business is being run in to the ground by inept and unqualified senior leadership. Staff are constantly afraid of losing their job due to the incredibly high turnover, mostly due to leadership choosing as and when they no longer require your services and lay you off with questionable legality. Most members of staff have expressed concern over workloads, partly due to there being a new team every couple of months, thus meaning experience is scarce. Training is non existent, members of staff are promoted without logic or reasoning, for the most part these staff are highly unqualified for their role and are hired/promoted due to being a family member or close friend of the managing director. Positive reviews on this site are almost certainly these particular individuals. Certain staff members, mostly senior, stay behind and work overtime that of which is unpaid. Then in part expect you to do the same. If you are late, expect to be reprimanded in public and quite often humiliated, if you sit up from your desk before 5pm exactly, expect the same outcome but in an office wide email. Small talk with colleagues is frowned upon, making friends is seen as a distraction to your work and senior leadership will often go out of their way to ensure friendships are kept to a minimum, by means of moving people to another desk across the office. Avoid ever even consider working here at all.

Pros

Great brand Great people Great mission Transitioning to improved ways of working following exit of previous leader. Culture is much better. Investing in tech. Investing in people. Driving customer centricity.

Cons

Transformations are not easy. Those up for the challenge and opportunity to build new and better ways of working love it. Its fast paced and fun - if you don't like that, you'll find it difficult.

Pros

BioPak has a clear and inspiring sustainability mission, which makes the work feel meaningful and impactful. The company collaborates with well-known brands in the food service industry and provides exposure to a wide range of marketing initiatives across different regions. Many colleagues are talented, passionate, and supportive, making collaboration and learning opportunities enjoyable. For those who value purpose-driven work and sustainability, BioPak provides a rewarding environment.

Cons

Leadership effectiveness within some teams is a major challenge. There is often a lack of clear direction, and priorities can shift frequently without proper communication or planning. This creates confusion around what actually matters and makes it difficult for team members to execute their work effectively. The organization also goes through frequent restructuring or role adjustments, which can sometimes place employees in positions that do not fully utilize their strengths or areas of expertise. As a result, people are occasionally asked to work against what they are naturally good at rather than being positioned where they can deliver the most value. Management style can at times feel more reactive than strategic. Instead of providing clear guidance and empowering the team, issues are sometimes passed down without proper context or ownership, leaving others to resolve them with limited support. There are also challenges around trust and empowerment. Even when employees demonstrate reliability and the ability to deliver results, involvement in decision-making or key projects can still be limited. This can create the impression that management is hesitant to fully trust capable team members, which can impact morale and slow progress. Accountability within the team is also inconsistent. Some team members rely heavily on others for answers or repeated clarification on information that has already been shared, rather than taking initiative to review existing documentation or resources themselves. This creates inefficiencies and places additional workload on colleagues who are trying to keep projects moving. Operational processes are not always well structured. Documentation, workflows, and tasks can be unclear or addressed very late, which leads to unnecessary stress and rushed transitions. Employees are often expected to fill in these gaps themselves without sufficient guidance. At times, the work environment can feel frustrating when strong ownership, proactive communication, and independent problem-solving are not consistently encouraged across the team. Ultimately, the company’s strong mission and talented employees risk being overshadowed when leadership structure, accountability, and trust within teams are not consistently prioritized.
