Pros

I've been hesitant to write this post, but I feel compelled to do so in the interest of anyone considering employment at the company. The largest part of 2020 at BioIQ was professionally and personally fulfilling. The company quickly pivoted during the COVID19 pandemic. The technology team implemented a new platform that allowed the company to develop new COVID19 product offerings rapidly; that platform by the end of 2020 enabled BioIQ to grow year-over-year annual revenues significantly. Through most of 2020, the entire company worked at a pace and maintained a productivity level I have never experienced. There was not only a high level of morale, but the teams that built the platform thoroughly enjoyed working with each other and proud of their accomplishments.

Cons

However, in December 2020, all of this changed. BioIQ executive management replaced technology leadership. The new leadership did not understand --- or attempt to understand --- the infrastructure in place or the critical business processes this technology supported. This new leadership has failed to provide effective management of and communications with the technology team. Also, a decision to move to new technology was made despite the fact the existing technology platform had enabled BioIQ to grow revenues in 2020 dramatically. As a result, technology team morale has been negatively impacted, and BioIQ is losing talented personnel that helped the company grow dramatically and successfully in 2020. I would be cautious about selecting BioIQ as a company to work for, primarily due to how technology personnel are treated and the new technology platform BioIQ is now attempting to implement but struggling to do so.

Pros

This company truly cares about the patients and those who need access to basic healthcare. Our Veterans and those who live in rural locations are not likely to have access to life saving, affordable testing. BioIQ has made it their mission to partner and get colorectal cancer screening test kits in every home.

Cons

Looking to sell the company.
