Pros

There is a chance to move up in the company, I started off in the warehouse and ended up as the Marketing Coordinator, just before I left I was offered a job in Purchasing.

Cons

There is a lot of division between sales/marketing and the warehouse. There is a class system amongst the workers. Some people in marketing couldn't get over the fact I used to work in the warehouse. Certain colleagues wouldn't work as a team but would then ask you to help them finish a project. When I worked in the warehouse, you worked very hard and did your best but the CEO still wanted more and wasn't thankful for our hard work.

Pros

The pros were once extensive. But now, nothing. BioCeuticals was once a separate business unit when Blackmore's purchased them but now they are destroying the business, determined to make it as terrible to work for as they are. I worked there for 2.5 years in product development and left just as things started getting really bad because Blackmore's wanted their hand in everything regardless of if they were competent or not. I feel sorry for the poor souls still there watching Blackmore's put the company through the shredder.

Cons

Blackmore's has slowly destroyed this business. What was once a profitable standalone business is now on the path of destruction. Blackmore's are merging this business Into their own and in the process have destroyed what was an amazing work culture where people once were prided on getting stuff done. It's sad to watch a place that was once so wonderful to work at be destroyed by Blackmore's culture of bullying and corruption. Every since the old CEO left Blackmores the executive team have turned into a pack of wild dogs who are caught up in a power grab to see who can take the most. The Blackmore's management team look to have KPIs that have been set around "Merge the business together" regardless of the consequences of doing so. If BioCeuticals is destroyed in the process, this does not matter. The goal is total assimilation. When BioCeuticals starts hemorrhaging money I hope the share holders hold the current board / executive team accountable for their selfishness and incompetence
