Utterly toxic, incompetant, narccesitic line manager, who constantly took every single opportunity to cristize absolutly everything I did, from my work to the most innocent of comments made on calls. Constant daily passive aggresive behavior to outright bullying. He repeatedly admonished me for looking tired and stressed, which were both as a result of his behaviour, as it deeply impacted my sleep and mental health. He displayed an inability to commuincate briefs to me, despite dozens of requests for more informed information, expecting me to guess what he was thinking. Totally disrespctful behaviour and complete lack of integrity, ignoring my complaints about his commucation manner, despite promising to amend his conduct. When I explained to my manager that his behaviour was causing me to need time off for stress, and that I was on anxiety medication as a direct result of his behaviour, he exploded at me, shouting 'You told me you could deal with feedback' at me. A disgusting way to behave, given what I had just told him. Unable to take any more, I decided to resign from the company, citing my manager's behaviour as my reason for leaving. Despite detailed exit interviews with the CEO, HR and Head of Department, no attempt was made by anyone to retain me, or move me to another department, or even mediate between the two of us. They simply did nothing and said farewell. My head of department turned around and said he saw it as a 'clash of personalities'. This is a company that puports itself as a people first company, which frankly, is laughable. My time at Binalyze was the most damaging of the entire 25 years I have been in the work place, having dealt with dozens of toxic personalities in that time without any ill effect. I am still on medication for anxiety and ended up needing therapy, both as a direct result of working at the company. It will take years to repair the damage the company failed to protect me from.
