Pros
I've worked at numerous startups and the psychological safety I've experienced here has been a game changer. It's admirable to see the CEO and People team's commitment to making decisions that are balanced in both what's reasonable for the business and best for its employees. Hard work and a positive attitude does not go unnoticed here and I've seen managers care deeply about their team. No company and no person is going to get it right 100% of the time, but the fact that they strive for this, listen to feedback, and course correct when needed, things here are lightyears away from other companies. The outlook of the business and the thoughtful decision-making of its CEO makes it exciting to be part of something like this.
Cons
This is not really a con but more of a heads up. They take leveling and impact seriously here. Where one may find climbing the ladder easier somewhere else, it takes more grit and display of impact here. The goal is to ensure you're fully set up to succeed in the next level when you arrive and avoid inflation of titles. Stick it through, master your craft, and it will be noticed.
