Pros

The people and clients are the absolute best piece of Bigeye. Culture is another huge plus. The CEO does everything he can not only to promote but also to protect the awesome culture that has been built here. If you are looking for opportunities to grow this is the place. The CEO loves this business and recognizes when people are willing to work hard and grow here and that is always rewarded. You will learn so much here and make friends for life. The leadership team is extremely engaged in the work of the agency and the people as well. I've never worked somewhere where I have felt so supported by my supervisor and other members of the leadership team. Wins are always celebrated. Goals are always nurtured. The CEO knows all of his employees and takes time to check-in. We are not treated like cogs in a machine. He's in the office every day and always ready to jump in when help is needed. Our clients are really cool.

Cons

Every workplace has annoying little things and Bigeye does as well. There are policies that seem questionable or a little old-fashioned, but things are changing quickly and leadership seems to listen to employees, even if it take a while. Since bigeye really accelerates your growth, it tends to become a stepping stone and turnover is common. Compensation could be more competitive and reactive to the market to make sure awesome talent stays. You have to advocate for yourself. You won't get much if you don't ask. Overall, I'd much rather be here than at a huge agency where no one outside of my team knows my name or what I do.

Pros

• Large variety of clients of various sizes and industries • Great work culture. So many people have made lifelong friends even after they have moved on. • Very good about promoting within the company and encouraging professional growth.

Cons

• Sometimes the work/life balance gets a little hairy but it ebbs and flows. • Occasionally there are too many meetings about a particular project but it's been getting better.

Pros

I was really excited for this internship experience. i enjoyed the company everyone was very nice and welcoming. I actually learned quite a lot and got great experience. This is probably because they make interns do all of their work haha. But regardless, I got great experience and was able to build a portfolio with it and actually gain some skills that have been useful in my current job. The company has many get together they all seem to get along great.

Cons

I was initially really hoping it would have led to a position full time. I was actually told by the owner that he was going to offer me a full time job there just not until the new year which was a month away. I was very excited over this and told my family didn’t really apply for other jobs because I thought for sure this was going to work out. I kept following up and got no response after no response, which was very rude. I was also told that I could always reach out for a letter of recommendation which i did reach out as well and got no response. I was really disappointed to find out that they use a group of interns every semester to do their work but they can’t afford to pay anyone. I was actually offered a job there months later when someone had quit. Whether I had a job already or not, I would have never accepted it knowing how they had treated me and completely ghosted me once I was done being an intern for them. I found out that the salary was unbelievably low as well so i’m actually very grateful that I didn’t accept a job there.
