Pros
Bigcommerce is one of the most unique, creative and inspiring places I've ever worked. They encourage teams to achieve things greater than the whole, allow you to take action on your ideas and make them happen, and will invest in your success - financially and personally. The executive team is accessible and loves to hear from every level of the business. They share the goals of the business (as every employee is a shareholder) to help us all work towards the same goal. Additionally, they have culture groups that allow you to join in wherever your passions are - fitness and health, community engagement or just having fun with colleagues. I personally take advantage of all of the groups and it's created bonds with my team mates that I don't get a chance to work directly with. Finally, the perks you hear about in your interviews and online are great. You'll never go hungry at Bigcommerce, have a lack of fun things to do with your breaks or be discouraged from having work life balance. I know that when I take off, my team has my back and won't let me fail. You want to work here.
Cons
Since Bigcommerce is a fast-growing company, there are changes. People who are not comfortable with change may be caught off guard and have a hard time adapting. I personally thrive in change - it keeps things exciting. Just know that the changes are meant to keep the company moving forward in the most successful way possible.
