Pros

Shop is clean. Up to date software and hardware. There is a pool if you dont mind coworkers seeing you and significant other in a swimsuit.

Cons

Expect to know everyone else's job and correct their mistakes. Dont dare make your own mistake but clean up after every other department. There is little to no training with a vast amount of in-house information you need to know. The amount of rush orders permitted to come through makes it highly stressful and not enough time to do your job correctly.

Big Visual Group Response

Thank you for your review! We do keep a very clean shop and pride ourselves on staying current with technology, equipment, and tools that make work easier for our staff and projects more efficient for our clients. And we love that staff can take advantage of our pools anytime — and reserve them for a private family pool party on the weekend! You are also right in that we have a lot of in-house information. As a custom sign shop, constantly seeking new technologies and methodologies there really isn’t a quick and easy how-to manual for us. We seek to employ creative self-starters who are focused on problem-solving and providing a quality product for Big Visual Group’s customers. That speaks to the rushes as well, we work with a lot of large events in Nashville and around the nation — all of which are very time sensitive. With the help of our talented staff we help our clients launch numerous successful events throughout the year.

Pros

The location was convenient. That's about it.

Cons

Nothing works because nobody knows who's supposed to do what. You'll get three different answers from three different people about the same task, which honestly gets old real fast. Projects just kind of exist in limbo while people shuffle things back and forth, and then suddenly you're behind and it's somehow everyone's fault and nobody's fault at the same time. Documentation doesn't exist and nothing runs on anything resembling a system — it's all unwritten rules and whoever yells loudest gets their way. I spent most of my time trying to figure out how things actually worked instead of actually doing the work. By the end I just stopped caring because caring meant stressing over a mess that wasn't mine to fix anyway.
