Not smart management and trying to get credit for their work from their employees

Initially when the company was Grapple Mobile, it was a great place to work. Everyone was hard working and had a good attitude.

Not too sure how to say this. I saw the company grow from a start up to being acquired by Monitise. Unfortunately the senior people involved were not the greatest of people. They were self interested and ruthless. My tenure there resulted in psychological scars that i am trying to get rid of still. The incredible amount of covering up of peoples incompetence is unreal. It was like a mafia at the top, people looking out for each other. If you crossed them you were gone. This senior management mafia didn't care about culture, values or of doing anything right. Only intimidation and creating an atmosphere of fear. Backstabbing was a prominent way making sure you did not succeed. Making a good product doesn't matter, trying to acquire good clients doesn't matter. What did matter to people was climbing up the career latter no matter what the cost. It is the worst place i have ever worked in my entire life. It has made me raise serious questions about humanity. Can people really be capable of this much cruelty and insanity?
