Pros

As a current employee at Big Ideas Learning, I can confidently say that this is a great place to work. Here’s why: Collaborative and Supportive Culture: At Big Ideas Learning, teamwork is more than just a buzzword. The environment is genuinely collaborative, with colleagues always ready to lend a hand and share insights. It’s a place where you can count on your peers and feel supported in your role. Encouragement of Creativity: If you love being creative, this is the right place for you. The company values innovative thinking and encourages employees to bring new ideas to the table. You’ll have the freedom to explore creative solutions and contribute to projects that are both challenging and rewarding. Meaningful Work: What I appreciate most is the impact of our work. We’re dedicated to improving children’s education and supporting teachers across the country. Knowing that my efforts contribute to something as important as education is incredibly fulfilling. If you’re looking for a workplace where you can grow, be creative, and make a difference, Big Ideas Learning could be the perfect fit.

Cons

As someone who’s still new in my role at Big Ideas Learning, I haven’t encountered many challenges yet. My experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m still getting to know the full scope of the company. Any potential cons will likely be specific to the individual’s role or team, but for now, I’m focused on learning and contributing to the company’s success.

Pros

The team is great and the work we do is meaningful. Family owned business which could probably go either way but the Larson's are good people and really seem to care about the company and employees. There are a ton of people who have been here 20+ years which was not the case where I worked before. Best overall benefits package I've had too. Good healthcare coverage, 401K match, tuition reimbursement, plenty of pto, etc. Leadership is supportive of the team and more transparent than I'm used to so that helps, especially during tough times.

Cons

Recent layoffs caught everyone by surprise and make the future look a little bit unclear. Communication has been good though and I'm hopeful that we're heading in a positive direction because I'd definitely like to stay here.

Pros

None at all whatsoever 👎

Cons

Delusional senior leadership. Operates like a startup in all the worst ways. Very foolish business decisions that cost people their jobs. The positive reviews for this company are probably fake or paid. I’ll be surprised if this company is still around in another year.
