Pros

There are many pros. I’ve felt welcome from day one, and all my colleagues have been incredibly helpful. My first day was at the sales conference in Brighton, and five months later I’m standing in Biamp’s booth in Barcelona. I’m both happy and grateful!

Cons

The cons I’ve seen have been related to logistics — mainly that we haven’t received hardware in time for customers, which has led to cancelled orders. Another issue is that when Biamp performs work on the website, there’s no information provided about ongoing maintenance. But there are no cons that we can’t overcome or influence

Pros

Great Management Team, therefore, solid examples for those folks who are not in management. I like the early start time. usually means we have an early quit time. This allows for employees to accomplish other activities in their lives. I like the Veteran's Day off. Reasonable goals.

Cons

My computer training, to enable me to use Biamp computer system was not good. The initial "on boarding" was less than stellar. Not sure what the career opportunities are.

Pros

Great products. Global company with a strong reputation. A leader in the AV industry. Devoted to their partners and the integrators like Biamp. Great people to work with who are experienced in the industry. Broad product line and a broad customer/reseller base.

Cons

Management style is straight out of the 80s. They manage down, not up. They need to reform the management style. Fix the culture. Micromanaging and reporting is a bit much. Employees feel undervalued with lower than average pay rates. The company is full of over qualified and underpaid people. Several people have left to work for the competition due to basic financial needs not being met and the management style. The competition pays double of what Biamp pays. They also don't have a cost of living adjustment per region.
