Pros
Flexible work arrangements. Interesting and varied technology. Some great people to learn from across the business. Nothing is handed to you on a plate but if you love tech and are motivated to continually learn new skills and take pride in your work then you will do well. Always plenty of opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way.
Cons
Perhaps, salaries are a little lower than some of Glasgow's big software companies, but if money was my driving factor then I'd go an be an anonymous warm body in one of the banks. However, salaries are being brought more in line with market rates and are reviewed each year.
