Pros

Only good is it gives young agents a platform to network.

Cons

This company is a joke. It is run as a mom and pop shop that is seemingly the hobby of the two “managing partners.” It’s as if they believed that by quickly hiring more inexperienced people, they would somehow magically grow. They will hire anyone with a pulse. This company is about optics, as they are built on a foundation of sand. The owner and founder has a complex which leads him to believe he is well respected in the industry, when the reality is that he is the laughing stock and an embarrassment. Aside from the fact that he believes he is an “entertainer,” he is a blatant racist, sexist homophobe and does not create a safe environment to work. Management of the company is only in that position because they’ve put up with the owners long enough. Truly was the worst leadership I’ve encountered in my life and needs to read a book or two on how to manage a team. Owner creates a hostile work environment in which nothing is ever good enough business practices are so unbelievable, yet owners blame and punish employees for not breaking even at the end of the year. Owner continually belittled employees and reprimanded them for not selling his truly horrible tribute show. Time to hang up the wig and call it quits.

Pros

The only pro here is learning (not from the owners) about this unique performing arts business. You learn what to do from clients, and presenters. You learn what NOT to do from management, who are too busy complaining about you not booking the owner's truly horrible tribute show. Most professionals in this business know the owners are a joke, and many refuse to deal directly with them. Good pay though!

Cons

CONFLICT OF INTEREST is the first thing that comes to mind. Owner demands his bobby darin tribute be booked even though he is 3x as old as Darin was when he died. All they care about is money, and you are not taught the principles of this business in terms of well planned routing, touring, and good business practices (Ever heard of escrow, Ms. H?).
