Pros
The pay is great. They offer 401k contributions, on-site gym and medical office. On-site daycare. Cafeteria that offers OK food. There are many very smart people that work here.
Cons
Not a collaborative environment. A lot of infighting between the teams. I was hired in a Senior Engineer/Architect role but my input was never considered. All architecture decisions were made by the management without the input of the staff. Essentially I was relegated to a Jr role implementing the design developed by management. Management doesn’t appear to have any training or ability to lead through adversity. If you have difficulty, they won’t inform you of the changes you need to make or lead you to success. You’ll be asked to leave or fired. I saw that with myself and many others who passed through the company. The workspace i was given was extremely small. Just enough room for your monitors and keyboard. Office area is an “open concept”. This means it’s extremely noisy and distracting when you are trying to get your work done. Impromptu meetings from other groups next to my desk happened frequently.
