Pros

Projects and clients are often interesting, providing opportunities to work across a variety of therapy areas, which keeps the work dynamic and allows staff to gain experience across multiple disciplines. Some staff are friendly and try to make you feel included.

Cons

Working long hours is the norm, often exceeding 50+ hours per week, with little to no recognition, additional compensation, or meaningful compensatory time off to reflect the extra effort. Clear disregard for work-life balance, making it difficult to maintain personal well-being. Favouritism is prevalent, creating an environment that feels cliquey and exclusionary. While feedback is frequently given, it tends to focus solely on areas for improvement rather than acknowledging achievements or hard work. There is a distinct lack of appreciation for staff contributions. Expectations for new hires are unreasonably high, yet the training provided is insufficient to set us up for success. Instead of being supported, new employees are left to struggle under pressure. Progression within the company appears to be very limited, particularly after SRE.
