Pros

Cool place that provides you with beers and has a good location near South Station. The CEO is a really smart guy who has a natural ability to make all of his employees feel important.

Cons

You will be told that it is essential to provide a prospect with clear expectations. Unfortunately, the sales management at BevSpot does not do the same for its employees. I was assured during my interview that BevSpot would be the best place in Boston to learn how to sell; that management would work with me to make sure I understood the sales process and ways to effectively engage prospects. Over the first three weeks on the phones, I struggled and management told me I needed to show improvement. I began to put everything I had into the job. I began booking more demos and was starting to feel comfortable and a lot more confident. Two weeks after my warning from management, I was let go. I recommend that you do not accept BDR role at BevSpot if you want to learn how to sell. Unless you can learn in 3 weeks.
