Pros
Most staff are nice. Relaxed office environment for the most part. Sometimes free food if they get a vendor in. Nice office. Recently implemented an new benefit platform and Wagestream so you can access some of your earnings before payday.
Cons
I can only go off what i know but there are some staff there that do definitely try their best to catch any small errors you might make or micromanage you when it isn't their job to do so. Very bizarre behaviour and i am talking about the team i was with, but like i said majority of staff otherwise are nice. Many employees in Head Office receive a discretionary bonus then there's others who receive the attendance bonus which to me and most other employees there doesn't make sense or seem fair!, especially in an office setting, but i understand how this could be an incentive for retail staff. ALSO those who do receive a discretionary bonus are receiving considerably more than what people who receive an attendance bonus do which is very unfair and cannot be justified when you look at the job specifications! - I think this is being looked at though to be eventually based on your job band, but I am not certain. The pay really varies. Some employees are paid well for their position when compared to competitors, some are paid rubbish for the amount of responsibility they have. Also some offices you can WFH 60% of the week others you can wfh 40% of the week but to that's discretionary with your manager. I have now left her and i did dispute my pay review, nothing was done about it and then i was offered a lot more from another employer. My last pay review was very disappointing considering i was never on a plan of improvement, never received any warnings, never had any concerns about my performance etc.
