Pros
Opportunities for new graduates. Everyone gets an office. Good healthcare. Beta is very transparent about the company's finances. Exposure to most aspects of substation design. Opportunities for technical growth. Cost of FE testing and licensing is paid for.
Cons
The managers far outnumber the engineers. Engineers are assigned more work than can be completed on time. Engineers are questioned as to why unrealistic deadlines were not met. Engineers are the only ones in the office on Saturday and Sunday. Employees are kept in the dark about most business decisions. There is little opportunity for outsiders to advance at Beta.
