Berkadia is such a unique place to work. I have spent nearly 8 years of my professional career here and have greatly enjoyed the people, culture and pace at which the firm has grown. They have always stayed true to being client focused and people centric. The business model is extremely sharp so as far as stability is concerned for a private firm Berkadia has what it takes to continue to take care of its employees. I also love how the firm is focused on innovation and recently AI. As a person still growing in my professional career Berkadia has all the right elements to keep me engaged, fulfilled and truly cared about.

Leadership can lack at communication across the firm which can be hard in a distributed environment.

Evade confrontation Will not give you a heads up if anything is wrong I was fired in a 4 min call where I was given no reason as to why I was being let go. I wasn't given any warnings or told if I did something wrong. I was given a less than 30 min meeting invitation with a vague subject line, and the meeting wasn't with anyone I knew. Beware: if you are not someone's family member, you will not be there long.
