Pros
So much better than any place I have ever worked. Everyone from the top down at Berg is extremely friendly, personable, and easy to work with. The NDT and Hardness testing industry is super interesting and constantly adapting and advancing with new technologies within the industry. Constantly learning about the latest technology in the industry. No red tape if you want to pitch an idea to senior leadership. Set 8-hour work days with a 45-minute lunch. Pizza Fridays for B-days and a lot of holidays off. Good benefits. Weekly Pay! Enjoy coming to work every day because it is never the same old mind-numbing tedious tasks, you will be doing something different every day. Lots of freedom to work/learn the way you do best. No micro-managing. The list goes on!
Cons
Not many. Berg offers a wide range of NDT & hardness testing products, which can feel like a lot to learn in the beginning but you pick it up by doing projects/training over time. The Techs, Sales, and engineers are always willing to help you with product info and explain features. It is definitely best viewed as a long-term job/career because the more you learn about NDT the higher value you become.
