Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share your impressions about your employment with BDG. We are sorry to hear you felt dissatisfied with your conditions and opportunities at BDG. We always encourage conversations to make sure we are aligned with the employee's responsibilities, experience and progress. We're glad to read that you consider our team transparent as that’s one of our key values and also to know that you consider BDG as a workplace where you can learn a lot. One of the areas we promote at BDG is growth, reason why 90% of our executive team has been promoted to senior leadership within their tenure at BDG, even when they started at intermediate levels several years ago. We believe our compensation program is competitive, with the current median base salary ranging between $75-80K + quarterly bonuses, and we’re also proud to offer full benefits to all employees, including dental, health & vision. I wish you best of luck at your future projects!

Pros

BDG has all the things you want in an employer: rock-solid team dynamic, inspiring learning environment, friendly people, freedom to put forth your own ideas and put them into practice, colleagues who know their area of expertise front to back, fun social activities, and so on. What really sets them apart for me, personally, is flexibility. As a freelancer, BDG has made it really easy for me to balance my professional life by allowing me ample time to work on mandates for other clients, in addition to the work I complete for them. They were very open to the idea of letting me work remotely, while still making me feel like I'm always part of the team. The lines of communication are always open, we're able to get together in-person at any given moment, and we all work together in the most highly effective manner. There's a sense of trust that exists that I haven't always found everywhere I've worked. Frankly, I couldn't ask for a better or easier group of people to work with.

Cons

I can't think of any.

Pros

- You learn a lot, and quickly. Not necessarily only about your area of expertise, but also on how to work on a fast-paced environment that changes strategies every month or so. It can be helpful. - Some people are nice and I definitely will keep in touch with them.

Cons

- Low wages. The only ones that get paid well there are the favorite employees. - As mentioned, lots of favoritism. They will keep a favourite employee even if the person is one of the reasons everyone is leaving. - Owners do not hide when they don't like you that much. - Lots of empty promises - No value is given to employees - They think you have to accept what they offer you (low wages, almost no benefits) in the name of "start-up culture" - Endless hours. Expect to work overtime. - Constant asking to write reviews on Glassdoor
