      Pros

      If you are at least a bit competent you can push up quickly to the middle ranks. It stops after that. If you want to just work and work and never have to think outside the box or innovate, this is your paradise.

      Cons

      Low pay if you haven't worked there a decade, nepotism, arbitrary rules and processes. General opposition to progress. Complete lack of talent in upper management. For the young and inspired, you will quickly realize that this is a dead end job. Amazing amounts of overhead.

      Pros

      Great benefits, nice office. If you apply yourself and are patient, you will have the opportunity to learn a lot that will benefit you throughout your career.

      Cons

      Slow to promote. Huge pay gap between overlapping positions. Limited growth opportunities. People in same position and different work ethics get paid similiarly. Limited incentive to excel & grow.
