Benefits are superficial. Diversity is also superficial. PoC are hired to fill quotas. They have a pre-existing cult culture and favorites within executive leadership. Regardless of what you bring to the table and how well you perform, if you aren’t willing to drink the company coolaid and aren’t complicit with disagreeable management decisions, you’re not a culture fit. There is no real room for growth.
